This is completely off-topic... but I thought I'd like to share this with you ... This is my all-time favourite painting (by my all-time favourite artist, John William Waterhouse). Absolutely outstanding and touching... And, of course, there are flowers in it :)
Although I love most of the Pre-Raphaelites, J.W.Waterhouse's works are perhaps the best of the lot - a 'combination of mythology, poetry and mystique femme fatale'

You are right, we should not forget to smell the roses, while they are still blooming. Interestingly enough, there is another beautiful painting by JW Waterhouse 'Gather ye rosebuds while ye may...'
